Storytelling: Bridging Gaps, Building Futures

Norco College is proud to host the 2025 Equity Summit, "Storytelling: Bridging Gaps, Building Futures," on Friday, April 4, 2025 (10 AM - 3 PM0. This transformative professional development (including Equity FLEX credit) event will bring together the entire college community—faculty, college employees, and community partners—to engage in meaningful conversations about equity, diversity, and inclusion through the powerful lens of storytelling.

Keynote speakers from diverse backgrounds will share their unique experiences, shedding light on the ways personal stories can bridge cultural, social, and generational gaps. These inspiring talks will set the stage for a series of interactive breakout sessions, where attendees will collaborate, reflect, and explore how storytelling can be used as a tool to foster understanding, build connections, and inspire action.

The summit aims to create a space where participants feel empowered to share their own narratives, learn from one another, and commit to sustaining an equitable and inclusive environment at Norco College. By focusing on the impact of storytelling, this event will encourage the college community to celebrate differences, challenge inequities, and inspire future leaders to uphold these values as they move forward, both in their academic journeys and beyond.

Through shared stories and collective action, the 2025 Equity Summit will inspire, connect and transform the Norco College community in its ongoing mission to build a brighter, more equitable future for all.
